Siniša Ilić

Siniša Ilić (b.1977 Belgrade), is a visual artist, also working in the field of performance art. His work includes drawing, painting, installation and video. Ilić’s practice addresses social phenomena and mechanisms, exploring forms of labour, tension, social violence and states of uncertainty. Ilić collaborates with other artists and authors, on a range of collaborative projects. He is a co-founder of TkH (Walking Theory 2000-2017) art and theory platform from Belgrade. With B. Djordjev and M. Mirković co-curator of Serbian exhibition at Prague Quadrienniall of Performance Space and Design, 2019. He showed his works at: On the Shoulders of Fallen Giants, 2 Industrial biennial, Rijeka, My Sweet Little Lamb and Gallery Nova, Zagreb, Apoteka Gallery, Vodnjan, Belgrade Cultural Centre, October Salon, Museum of Contemporary Arts, Museum of African Arts, Belgrade; Georges Pompidou Center, Kadist Art Foundation, Paris; Tate Modern, galleries Calvert 22 and Forham London; Ural biennial, Yekaterinburg, Lofoten festival, Norway; Museum of Contemporary Arts, Mestni Muzej and Moderna Galerija, Ljubljana; Open Space, Vienna; DEPO, Istanbul; Arsenal Gallery, Bialystok; Tennis Palace Museum, Helsinki.
