Tjaša Pogačar

Tjaša Pogačar (b. 1987, Yugoslavia/Slovenia) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and works in the field of contemporary visual and new media art as a freelance writer, curator, and editor. Her texts have been featured in various Slovenian magazines and journals (Tribuna, Likovne besede, Praznine) as well as exhibition catalogs published by Moderna galerija, Garage Museum Moscow, and the L’Internationale confederation among others. She co-founded ŠUM where she has been working as an editor and program manager since 2013. She is a regular collaborator of the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova since 2012.

She is currently the artistic director of the International Festival of Computer Art in Maribor, and works as a curator at Projekt Atol Institute, a non-profit organization for artistic, scientific and technological research and development.
